Human Resources Generalist About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced environment. This role will focus on employee relations, onboarding, compliance, benefits administration, HR systems management, and general HR support.
The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, confidential, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is based on experience. Flexible starting at $55-60k / year
Medical, dental & vision insurance 401(k) 2 weeks of PTO Additional benefits discussed during the interview process Key Responsibilities Employee Relations & HR Administration Maintain employee records and HR documentation Respond to employee HR inquiries and support requests Update employee information in Netchex Process employment verifications (VOEs) Assist with payroll-related questions Track driver license expirations and HR reports Onboarding & New Hires Run background and MVR checks Complete E-Verify and onboarding documentation Enter new hire information into Netchex, KPA, and Hireology Coordinate IT setup and uniform distribution Terminations & Transfers Process termination paperwork and checklists Update employee records and HR systems Coordinate separation notices and file audits Notify IT of employee status changes Leave Administration Support FMLA, STD, LTD, and workers’ compensation processes Track employee leave statuses and required documentation Respond to insurance and third-party administrator inquiries Benefits & HR Systems Assist employees with benefits questions and open enrollment Distribute insurance ID cards Support KPA and Hireology administration, reporting, audits, and recruiting workflows Uniform Management Track online uniform orders and inventory Coordinate uniform reordering as needed Qualifications 2 years of HR experience preferred Experience with HRIS systems required; Netchex, KPA, or Hireology experience is a plus Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation, and employment verification processes Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and multitasking abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information professionally,
