Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join a collaborative pediatric therapy team serving children ages 0–18. This role offers a unique opportunity to help develop and lead a growing Pediatric Occupational Therapy program while working alongside a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with developmental disabilities, including autism, and will thrive in an environment focused on collaboration, innovation, and improving outcomes for families. This position also provides leadership opportunities, including the ability to hire and supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs).
Flexible scheduling is available, allowing providers to create a work-life balance that fits their needs.
Job Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatment services for pediatric patients ages 0–18 Develop and oversee a comprehensive Pediatric OT Program Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers to deliver coordinated patient care Create individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s developmental needs Educate and support caregivers throughout the therapy process Maintain accurate and timely documentation Utilize therapeutic equipment and tools for evaluations and interventions Assist with program growth, development, and process improvement initiatives Hire, mentor, and supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) as the program expands
Qualifications
Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Colorado Minimum of 2 years of pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred Experience working with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders preferred Previous leadership, training, or staff oversight experience preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary environment Passion for helping children and families thrive
