Intake & RCM Coordinator – Home Infusion Pharmacy
Location: West Palm Beach, FL (Remote – Onsite as needed)
Salary: $19-$28/hour benefits
Summary
Our client, a growing home infusion pharmacy, is seeking a detail-oriented Intake & RCM Coordinator to manage the full revenue cycle—from initial referral through reimbursement. This hybrid-facing role is critical to ensuring patients receive timely care while supporting operational and billing excellence.
This is a great opportunity for someone experienced in healthcare billing, insurance verification, or RCM. A pharmacy tech background is helpful but not required.
What You’ll Do
Patient Intake & Referral Coordination Own the referral process from start to finish—collecting and entering patient, insurance, and prescriber data Investigate benefits, including deductible and coinsurance breakdowns Secure prior authorizations and track renewals Communicate treatment and financial expectations to patients and prescribers Collaborate across internal teams and external payers to avoid delays Follow up proactively on incomplete or missing documentation Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Prepare clean documentation to support accurate billing Validate HCPCS codes, NDCs, billing units, and therapy frequencies Partner with billing teams for claims submission across commercial and government payers Scrub and test claims prior to submission Monitor claims for adjudication; research and resolve denials Track payer trends and provide insights for process improvements Reconcile payments and resolve discrepancies Communicate with patients regarding financial responsibilities Cross-Training & Operational Support Assist with inventory, shipping, and delivery coordination Support sterile compounding training (once cleanroom is live) Maintain compliance across all systems used for intake, billing, and care What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent Must have infusion pharmacy intake, RCM, insurance verification, billing experience Familiarity with pharmacy software (CPR , TherigySTM, or similar) Strong understanding of insurance plans and benefit structures Pharmacy technician background highly preferred Why Join This Team Mission-driven work delivering high-quality infusion therapy Build hands-on expertise in full-cycle pharmacy operations Cross-training in sterile compounding, logistics, and more Collaborative team and competitive compensation
