Overview
We are seeking a Fleet Maintenance Operations Specialist to support daily operations by coordinating preventative maintenance and repairs for terminal tractors and trailers.
This role is critical to ensuring maximum fleet uptime, working closely with internal teams, customers, and third-party vendors to schedule and manage maintenance efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule preventative maintenance for fleet units Maintain maintenance records using internal systems and software Monitor fleet performance to ensure preventative maintenance targets are met Communicate with customers regarding unit availability and service timelines Prepare daily and monthly maintenance reports Provide repair estimates when applicable Identify and order necessary parts for repairs Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely service completion Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and recommend solutions Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 1–2 years of experience in truck/trailer maintenance or preventative maintenance 1–2 years of customer service experience Strong ability to read, analyze, and communicate information clearly Skills and Experience Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Solid communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organizational and customer service skills Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based systems Ability to diagnose minor mechanical issues remotely is a plus ,
