Key Responsibilities
Family Law Practice
- Manage a full caseload involving divorce, legitimation, custody, visitation, support, property division, protective orders, modifications, and enforcement.
- Develop case strategies and advise clients throughout the legal process.
- Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in mediations, hearings, settlement conferences, and trials.
- Handle complex custody, support, and equitable division matters.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case progress and expectations.
- Independently manage deadlines, court requirements, and case documentation.
- Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff across multiple office locations.
- Participate in professional networking and community engagement opportunities.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active Georgia Bar license and good standing.
- 4 years of family law experience preferred.
- Strong courtroom, negotiation, and litigation skills.
- Experience handling complex family law matters.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and case management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
