Driver Dispatcher

Pay: $19/hour (negotiable)

Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off

Location: North Little Rock, AR 72117

Job Summary

The Driver Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating drivers, organizing daily delivery routes, and ensuring customers receive their orders safely and on time. This position combines dispatching, scheduling, customer service, and delivery responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

• Dispatch drivers and organize daily delivery routes
• Maintain accurate daily routing and delivery information
• Help prepare and coordinate daily delivery schedules
• Communicate with drivers and customers regarding deliveries
• Load, secure, and unload delivery items
• Make deliveries when needed
• Inspect vehicles and ensure they are safe and ready for operation
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle
• Follow company policies and state and local driving regulations
• Handle customer questions, complaints, and delivery issues
• Manage multiple priorities and changing schedules
• Participate in required training
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Some dispatching experience
• Data entry and scheduling skills
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Customer-focused and dependable
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable with travel and logistics
• Valid driver’s license and good DMV record
• Personal vehicle may be required for deliveries
• Must meet required auto insurance limits of 300/100/100
• Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Able to sit and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Able to manage stress and multiple priorities
• Comfortable working with different personality types and de-escalating situations
  
  

Schedule

Friday–Thursday, 7 days on / 7 days off

Hours

Monday–Friday: 10 AM–9 PM

Saturday–Sunday: 8 AM–9 PM
