Position Summary
As an Escrow Officer, you will play a key role in managing and facilitating smooth, compliant, and timely real estate transactions. You’ll oversee the entire escrow process from start to finish — ensuring that every document and communication is handled with precision and care. This position requires a proactive professional who can manage multiple priorities, maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues, and uphold the highest standards of compliance and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Manage the escrow process: Oversee all aspects of the closing. Handle and verify documents: Collect, review, and confirm the accuracy and completeness of deeds, purchase agreements, instructions, and related documents. Clear title issues: Work with and rely on a high-level Title team to identify and resolve any title or document discrepancies to ensure a clear transfer of ownership. Disburse funds: Trust a Post and Funding Department to administer the disbursement of funds according to instructions, including mortgage payoffs, commissions, and settlement costs. Communicate with all parties: Serve as the main point of contact for buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders to ensure coordination and clarity throughout the process. Ensure compliance: Adhere to all applicable state and federal regulations while maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding client information. Skills & Qualifications Experience: 2–5 years of experience in title, escrow, or real estate transactions preferred. Education: High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Licensing: State escrow or title license is encouraged but not required. Skills: Qualia experience a plus* Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
