Personal Injury / Labor Law Attorney
Location: New York (Garden City, NYC, Brooklyn, or Queens)
Schedule: Full-Time
Salary: $175-250k
A growing plaintiff-side personal injury law firm with multiple offices across New York is seeking an experienced Personal Injury / Labor Law Attorney admitted in New York. This role offers the opportunity to manage your own caseload, collaborate with experienced partners, and contribute to a team-focused litigation practice with strong long-term growth potential.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plaintiff personal injury litigation, excellent writing and organizational skills, and the ability to manage cases from intake through trial.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters from inception through resolution
Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, bills of particulars, correspondence, and appellate briefs
Conduct court appearances and participate in hearings and trials as required
Maintain consistent communication with clients and build strong client relationships
Utilize the firm’s case management system and adhere to established firm protocols
Supervise and collaborate with paralegals and support staff
Assist partners with litigation strategy and case preparation as needed
Qualifications
Admitted to practice law in the State of New York
Admission to the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York is required
New Jersey admission is a plus
Minimum 5 Years Of Plaintiff Personal Injury Experience
Experience drafting litigation documents, including motions, discovery, and appellate briefs
Strong academic credentials and exceptional legal writing ability
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Experience Supervising Or Mentoring Paralegal Staff Preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly adapt to case management systems

18 days of PTO, with an additional 5 days after three years of employment
