Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding invoices. Key Responsibilities Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and in accordance with company policies. Process incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts. Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on past-due accounts. Maintain accurate billing and accounts receivable records. Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances. Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports. Partner with internal departments to investigate and resolve billing discrepancies. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities. Support the accounting team with additional projects and responsibilities as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred. 2–5 years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with ERP systems. Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
