Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Tabit POS and Micros POS, ensuring efficient communication with kitchen staff
- Provide detailed menu descriptions, suggest upselling opportunities, and promote daily specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns quickly, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements during busy hours
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and the ability to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling practices
- Previous experience in serving roles such as host/host or busser is advantageous
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
