What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sanitation & Production Technician — Fast-Growing Supplement Manufacturer position at Crave?
$21–$25/hour | Full-Time | Monday–Saturday, 8am–4pm
Food Manufacturing / GMP Sanitation Experience Required
We are a rapidly growing supplement company manufacturing premium creatine gummies.
In the last 2 months, we’ve 5× our revenue, and we’re rapidly expanding our in-house manufacturing operation.
We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of sanitation and cleanliness within our production facility while also operating one of our primary pieces of manufacturing equipment.
This is NOT a basic janitorial position.
We want someone who has worked in a food, beverage, supplement, pharmaceutical, or other GMP-controlled manufacturing environment and understands what excellent sanitation actually looks like.
We want you to bring knowledge to the table—not simply wait for someone to tell you what needs to be cleaned.
⸻
The Role
Your #1 responsibility is keeping our production operation extremely clean, organized, and up to GMP sanitation standards.
You’ll be responsible for hands-on cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, gummy molds, trays, utensils, work surfaces, floors, and production areas.
You should already understand concepts like:
Proper cleaning & sanitizing procedures
Preventing cross-contamination
Chemical concentrations and contact times
Cleaning and sanitation logs
Pre-operational cleanliness checks
Food-contact surface sanitation
Proper storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Following and improving sanitation SOPs
General GMP hygiene and housekeeping standards
We are actively improving our facility and systems as we work toward GMP certification, so we especially value someone who can spot sanitation gaps and help us improve.
If you see something that isn't being done correctly, we want you to speak up and fix it.
⸻
You’ll Also Run Our Gummy Depositor
We manufacture creatine gummies in batches.
During production, you’ll operate our gummy depositing machine for approximately one-hour production runs, typically a few times throughout the shift.
We can train you on the depositor—you do NOT need gummy manufacturing experience.
When the depositor isn't running, your primary responsibility is sanitation, cleaning, and maintaining the production environment.
⸻
What We're Looking For
1. Extremely Reliable
This is the most important requirement.
You show up on time, every scheduled day.
Our production line depends on every person being there. If you're someone who frequently calls out, arrives late, or needs a flexible attendance policy, this position will not be a good fit.
2. Experienced With Food/GMP Sanitation
We specifically want someone who already understands cleanliness and sanitation inside a regulated manufacturing environment.
Experience in food manufacturing, beverage production, supplements, pharmaceutical manufacturing, commercial kitchens, or similar environments is strongly preferred.
We want someone who can bring sanitation knowledge and best practices into our operation from day one.
3. You Work HARD
This is a hands-on job.
When there is work to do, you move with urgency.
You're not someone who needs to constantly be given another task. You find what needs to be cleaned, organized, improved, or prepared and get it done.
We want someone who works fast without sacrificing quality.
4. Extremely Detail-Oriented
You notice things other people miss.
A dirty corner. Residue on equipment. An improperly stored utensil. A sanitation step that wasn't documented. A potential contamination risk.
You care about doing things correctly even when nobody is watching.

Pay & Schedule
$21–$25/hour depending on relevant experience

⸻
The Upside
This is probably the biggest difference between working here and taking a similar position at a large corporation.
Crave is still early—and we're growing extremely fast.
We're building out our manufacturing operation now and expect to expand significantly over the next 12–24 months.
That means the people who join early and prove themselves will have opportunities to move up far faster than they typically could inside a large company.
Someone joining today as a Sanitation & Production Technician could potentially grow into roles such as:
Sanitation Lead
Production Lead
GMP / Quality Lead
Production Manager
Operations Management
We promote based on performance and capability—not how long you've been here.
For exceptional people who grow into leadership positions, there can also be opportunities for profit sharing and/or equity.
We're looking for someone who wants to get in early, take ownership, and grow as the company grows.
If you're extremely reliable, work hard, move fast, and already understand sanitation in a food/GMP manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.
If you're looking for an easy job where you can coast through the shift, please don't apply.
