We are seeking a Plant Team Member for County Materials at Iowa, City.
Job Duties:
- Prepare and inspect concrete forms before production
- Follow basic production instructions and layout drawings
- Place and secure steel reinforcement using tools provided
- Install concrete accessories in specified locations
- Clean forms, tools, and work areas after production cycles (may require respirator)
- Stage materials and components to keep production moving
- Assist with moving materials using forklifts or cranes (once trained)
- Support quality control, plant cleaning, and safety activities
- Perform other general labor or production tasks as assigned
Work Environment:
- Primarily indoor manufacturing with some outdoor exposure
- May involve heat, cold, noise, dust, and moving equipment
- Fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk for most of the shift
- Bend, twist, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Use hand tools, tie guns, and other equipment
- Work safely around moving machinery and automated equipment
Experience & Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- 0-2 years of related experience (manufacturing experience preferred)
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus
