We are seeking a Machine Operator in our Block departmentfor Materials Corporation in Janesville, WI.
Job Duties:
- Setup, operate and maintain concrete manufacturing machines.
- Ensure product quality at every phase of production with high attention to detail and communication with team members.
- Adjust equipment, ensure quality of materials, and troubleshoot machine problems.
- Work with basic hand tools, power tools, and tape measures using mathematical and mechanical skills.
- Operating forklifts
- Clean up as needed.
Work Environment:
- Carrying/Lifting 10 - 80 Pounds frequently
- Carrying/Lifting > 80 Pounds occasionally
- Standing / Walking / Climbing
- Squatting/Crouching/Kneeling/Bending
- Pushing / Pulling / Reaching Above Shoulder
Physical Requirements:
- Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions
- Work near moving machinery and equipment
- Work in a noisy environment
Experience & Qualifications:
- Must be mechanically inclined and able to identify problems and troubleshoot quickly.
- Strong understanding of production processes and ability to meet a production schedule.
- Ability to identify and react to a quickly changing environment.
- Proactive and self-motivated team player with a positive attitude
