We are seeking a Girder Driver for County Materials Corporation located in Janesville, WI.
Job Duties:- Demonstrate customer service while interfacing with clients.
- Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and in route inspections on all equipment, including securement devices.
- Properly secure load prior to transport following DOT regulations.
- Operate tractor trailer combinations.
- Transport product while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.
- Perform duties consistent with all safety policies, including utilizing proper PPE.
- Participate in loading and unloading of girders.
- Perform route surveys prior to delivery.
- Ensure cleanliness and good operating condition for assigned tractor.
- Receive work assignments and report back on job completion.
- Use consistent communicate with dispatcher.
- Maintain customer relations by acting in a professional, courteous manner.
- Work in outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures.
- Work near moving machinery and equipment.
- Work in a noisy environment.
- Sitting.
- Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds.
- Standing / Walking / Climbing.
- Squatting/Crouching/Kneeling/Bending.
- Pushing / Pulling / Reaching Above Shoulder.
- High school education (or Equivalent).
- Must hold a valid Class A CDL prior to hire.
- 2-4 years of Class A CDL driving experience required.
- "T" Endorsement for doubles and triples required.
