What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Night Auditor position at Country Inn & Suites?
We are looking for a Hotel Front Desk Clerk to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. This part-time position will be for the overnight shift, 11:00PM-7:00AM for Friday and Saturday nights; additional hours may be available during the week on other shifts if needed. If you have a knack for customer service, we’d like to meet you! Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
Experience is preferred but not required as we will train each individual to brand standards.
Responsibilities Include, but not limited to following:
- Operate hotel PMS system
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks as required
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Run night-time audit reports
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
- Working together with other staff to ensure smooth running of each shift
- Carry out all reasonable requests by that of the guest, supervisor, or owner
- Must be able to work independently
