Job Title: Hotel Sales Manager
Location: Eagan, MN (supports 4 Minneapolis-area hotels)
Reports To: Director of Sales
Compensation: $45,000 base salary commission
Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Hotel Sales Manager to generate new business for our portfolio of four hotels in the Minneapolis area. This role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys being in the field, building local relationships, and closing negotiated rate agreements, group room blocks, and extended-stay business.
The Sales Manager will be based in Eagan, MN and will regularly travel throughout the Twin Cities metro area to visit local businesses and organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, solicit, and secure new business accounts for four Minneapolis-area hotels
- Conduct in-person sales calls with local businesses and organizations throughout the metro area
- Negotiate and manage rate agreements, preferred vendor relationships, and long-term lodging contracts
- Maintain and grow an assigned account base while consistently prospecting for new opportunities
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Sales on strategy, forecasting, and revenue goals
- Represent the hotels at local networking events, chambers of commerce, and business associations
- Track sales activities, pipeline, and production using CRM and internal reporting tools
- Coordinate with hotel operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and servicing of accounts
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual revenue targets
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in hotel sales, B2B sales, or hospitality-related sales preferred
- Strong knowledge of the Minneapolis–St. Paul market is a plus
- Comfortable with cold calling, in-person visits, and relationship-based selling
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally on a regular basis
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
Compensation
- $45,000 base salary commission
