Job Summary
Country Inn & Suites in Port Clinton is hiring Front Desk Agents for Night Audit positions. We are looking for reliable, friendly, and customer-focused individuals to join our team. Front Desk staff are responsible for providing excellent guest service, handling reservations and check-ins, assisting with laundry duties, and helping create a positive guest experience. Night Auditors will also complete overnight reporting and balancing duties.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Check guests in and out of the hotel
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations
- Handle guest questions, concerns, and requests
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Complete nightly audit reports and balance daily transactions (Night Audit)
- Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel laundry as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk, lobby, and laundry areas
- Follow hotel policies and procedures to ensure guest safety and satisfaction
Requirements
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Weekend and holiday availability required
- Basic computer and cash handling skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Must be dependable and able to work evening or overnight shifts
- Ability to perform light physical work, including laundry duties
- Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
