Laundry Attendant

Country inn and suite by Radisson is Located on 2110 Rose Street, La Crosse WI, these 89 appointed guest room hotels, rated four stars.

You would be responsible for the specific duties outlined below including, but not limited to;

• Maintain the cleanliness of the hotel’s linen supply
• Sorts laundry prior to washing
• Pull damaged and/or stained linen prior to loading the washing
• Loads washers and dryers to recommended weights
• Save energy by setting dryers for proper heating and cooling times
• Inform supervisor of any equipment failures or supply shortage
• Fold linens and terry properly according to size, stack or store as required
• Adheres to hotel policies and procedures
• Maintains knowledge of and complies with all department policies
• Maintains cleanliness of laundry room
• Attends work on time as scheduled
• Uses equipment and chemicals in accordance with hotel’s safety procedures
• Adheres to all health, sanitation and safety rules and procedure

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required
• Must be able to accurately follow verbal and written instructions
• Works well in a team environment
• Attention to detail and follow instructions thoroughly

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Proper lifting techniques required
• Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds regularly, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work under variable temperature conditions, prolonged heat
