Job Summary
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel to ensure exceptional guest service, efficient operations, and financial success. The AGM assists in leading all departments, maintaining brand standards, developing team members, and ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager with the overall operation of the hotel.
- Lead daily hotel operations in the absence of the General Manager.
- Ensure exceptional guest service by promptly resolving guest concerns and maintaining high satisfaction scores.
- Supervise and support Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Breakfast departments.
- Recruit, interview, train, coach, and evaluate hotel employees.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Conduct daily property inspections to maintain cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation.
- Monitor room inventory, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and other key performance indicators.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense control.
- Review daily reports, night audit, and cash handling procedures for accuracy.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and coordinate ordering with department heads.
- Assist with sales efforts, group bookings, and community outreach.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and implement service recovery when needed.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with health, fire, and OSHA safety standards.
- Participate in emergency response procedures and crisis management.
- Perform Manager-on-Duty (MOD) responsibilities as scheduled.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Physical Requirements

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
