Join our Radiology team at Cottage Hospital as a Per Diem Radiologic Technologist, supporting our department on an as-needed basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a flexible, team-oriented technologist who enjoys variety in their work, values high-quality patient care, and is comfortable stepping in to support the needs of the department.
In this role, you will perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in X-ray, with the opportunity to support additional modalities based on experience and department needs. CT experience is strongly preferred, though we welcome technologists with a solid X-ray background who are eager to expand their skill set and contribute across multiple areas.
You will be responsible for safely operating imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images, and providing a positive, supportive experience for patients throughout their visit. This includes preparing patients for procedures, explaining exams clearly, and maintaining a calm, reassuring presence—especially in a small community hospital setting where patient relationships matter.
This position requires close collaboration with radiologists, providers, nurses, and fellow hospital staff, as well as regular interaction with patients and their families. You may also coordinate with other departments and outside providers to support timely and accurate imaging services.
