Job Summary:
As a Per Diem Hospitalist at Cottage Hospital, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients. You'll work closely with medical staff, hospital departments, patients, and their families to ensure efficient, comprehensive treatment in a supportive environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient care, managing a variety of medical conditions.
- Collaborate with other hospital departments and medical staff to coordinate patient care.
- Accurately document patient care activities in medical records, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state healthcare regulations, including EMTALA.
- Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and core measures compliance.
- Accurately code and document services to reflect the level of care provided.
- Maintain high standards of patient satisfaction and work towards enhancing patient experiences.
