Responsibilities
- Assist with patient assessments and gather health histories.
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
- Perform basic clinical procedures, including vital signs and EKGs.
- Coordinate patient care activities and follow-up appointments.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and preventative care.
- Support the healthcare team in providing high-quality patient care.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) credential required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current BLS certification essential.
- Experience in a surgical or specialty clinic setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
