What You'll Do
- Assist with routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and mechanical tasks
- Help maintain grounds, parking areas, and outdoor spaces
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility needs
- Move equipment, furniture, and supplies as needed
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow safety procedures and infection control guidelines
- Assist with emergency or after-hours maintenance needs when necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent, with vocational training in maintenance preferred.
- Previous experience in maintaining commercial buildings and equipment.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to make independent decisions and follow detailed instructions.
- Capability to work effectively with diverse individuals, including staff, residents, and the public.
