How We Work
As an intern you will be expected to work in a virtual environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:
- Assigned workspace in office
- Company-issued equipment
- Formal, hands-on training
- Conducting outbound calls to both warm and aged (cold) leads to re-engage prospects and identifying new opportunities
- Assisting in gathering and delivering feedback on the new customer experience to help improve onboarding and retention
- Supporting communication and coordination efforts during the onboarding process for new customers
- Engaging prospects to gauge interest in newly released products and services
- Helping analyze new customer performance and early lifecycle trends
- Tracking, organizing, and maintaining accurate data in CRM systems
- Monitoring and reporting on trends influenced by external industry factors (e.g., fuel prices, market conditions)
- Collaborating with sales, marketing, and operations teams to support ongoing initiatives
- Assisting with lead generation research and list building
- Preparing summaries, reports, and presentations for the sales team
- Identifying process improvement opportunities within the sales cycle
Additional Supervision Will Include
- Setting expectations and goals throughout the duration of the internship
- Honing her skills and knowledge regarding strategic growth and how it applies to the function of our business
- Give quality feedback based off her ideas and suggestions regarding her internship projects
- Team mentorship
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Comfortable speaking on the phone and engaging with prospective customers
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Shared Teams files; CRM experience is a plus
- Self-starter with the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
- Real-world experience in inside sales and customer lifecycle management
- Exposure to CRM tools, sales processes, and performance analytics
