Network Technician
Contract: Long Term
Location: Columbia, SC (on-site)
We are seeking a Network Technician to support and maintain network infrastructure and Microsoft environments at a primary work location in Columbia, SC. This role supports wired/wireless networking, Microsoft administration, help desk operations, and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Respond to help desk tickets involving wired/wireless network issues, account onboarding/offboarding, and infrastructure incidents.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for Level 1 and Level 2 support at critical sites.
- Assist with network rollouts, upgrades, cleanups, and documentation.
- Support Microsoft administrative tasks, including Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and group policy functions.
- Assist with basic Windows Server maintenance, monitoring, and patching.
- Maintain accurate network asset documentation and inventory.
Required Skills
- 5 years with Microsoft Entra ID and general Microsoft administration
- 5 years in Windows Server environments
- 10 years troubleshooting wired/wireless networking issues
- 5 years responding to help desk tickets via a ticketing system
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Deskpro ticketing system
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy
- Experience with Ruckus/Brocade network switches
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Salary : $30 - $35
