Escrow Assistant
Location: Surprise, AZ
Compensation & Schedule
• $22hr-$22.84hr
• Full-time, standard business hours
ROLE IMPACT
The Escrow Assistant supports residential escrow operations by providing direct administrative and client service support. This role ensures efficient document handling and transaction flow, working in tandem with escrow officers or supporting the department as a whole. It plays a key part in maintaining accuracy and speed during the closing process for real estate transactions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Open and manage escrow orders, including data input and file setup
• Prepare settlement statements and other closing documents
• Handle full disbursement and post-closing follow-up for transactions
• Communicate escrow requirements and timelines to clients and stakeholders
• Interpret and process legal and transactional documents related to closings
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 2 years of experience in escrow operations or a related role
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Highly organized with acute attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office and internal operating systems
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Escrow transaction management platforms
• Document preparation and file tracking systems
• Internal CRM or workflow tools
• Cloud-based communication and scheduling platforms
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Familiarity with real estate contracts and escrow procedures
• Bilingual communication ability
• Experience in fully remote team environments
