Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Escrow Assistant with prior escrow experience to join our growing team. The Escrow Assistant will play a vital role in supporting escrow officers by preparing documents, communicating with clients, and ensuring smooth, timely closings. Key Responsibilities
- Assist escrow officers with processing real estate transactions from opening to closing.
- Prepare, review, and organize escrow files and documents.
- Order payoffs, HOA demands, insurance, and other necessary items.
- Communicate with realtors, lenders, buyers, and sellers to provide updates and request information.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and industry best practices.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and client inquiries in a professional manner.
- Coordinate the scheduling of signings and closings.
- Assist with balancing files and disbursing funds after closing.
- Maintain accurate records and data entry in escrow software (Qualia).
Qualifications
- Previous escrow experience required (title, mortgage, or real estate background a strong plus).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers and ability to learn escrow software (experience with Qualia is a plus).
- Customer service mindset with a professional demeanor.
