Electrical Controls Assembler
Location Decatur, TX | Onsite
Compensation & Schedule
• $18–22/hr, depending on experience
• Monday–Friday, 7am to 4pm - 40-hour work week
• Full-time
Must have your own tools : Power Drill, Wrench, and ratchet
Role Impact
The Electrical Controls Assembler supports the build of frac pump control boxes and electrical control assemblies used on industrial oilfield equipment. This role ensures panels, wiring, and harnesses are assembled accurately, safely, and to quality standards. Success is defined by neat, reliable builds delivered on schedule and ready for installation in high-demand field environments.
• Assemble frac pump control boxes and electrical control panels from start to finish
• Read and follow schematics, wiring diagrams, harness prints, and work instructions
• Pull, measure, cut, strip, route, label, and terminate wire
• Perform soldering, crimping, and connector terminations
• Install relays, switches, terminals, connectors, and other electrical components into enclosures
Minimum Qualifications
• Mechanically inclined with hands-on assembly experience
• Comfortable using hand tools and drills in a shop environment
• Able to read and follow diagrams, drawings, and written instructions with strong attention to detail
Equipment & Work Environment
• Shop and production floor environment
• Use of hand tools, drills, crimpers, and soldering equipment
• Bench-based assembly work with sitting and standing throughout the day
• Occasional panel or enclosure modifications, including drilling and component mounting
Preferred Skills
• Experience with electrical assembly, harness assembly, control panel assembly, automotive wiring, or diesel equipment wiring
• Familiarity with schematics, harness diagrams, and basic electrical concepts
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial equipment assembly environments
