Location Whiteville, NC | Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $15.00/hourly
• Flexible 8-hour shift within Mon–Sun, 8:00am–8:00pm, with mandatory OT
• EOM schedule: Bell to Bell (8:00am–8:00pm, includes two 1-hour lunches)
• Sunday Dialer: 1–2 shifts per quarter; additional as needed during month-end
• Holiday availability required for temporary staff
ROLE IMPACT
This role supports financial recovery by contacting consumers with overdue accounts and negotiating repayment plans within legal and company guidelines. Agents drive revenue recovery through high-volume outbound calling, strategic negotiation, and strict compliance with documentation standards and call metrics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Contact and collect on delinquent accounts using approved procedures
• Meet or exceed contact and resolution metrics (calls, promises kept)
• Assess financial situations to negotiate feasible repayment terms
• Document all call activity accurately and professionally
• Coordinate with supervisors on escalated accounts
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 1 year call center experience
• 3 years customer service experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Demonstrated job stability (1 year per role)
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Collection management platforms
• Telephony and predictive dialer systems
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
