Director of Construction / Project Executive – Data Center Construction (General Contractor)
We are partnering with a well-established commercial general contractor to identify an experienced Project Executive with a proven track record delivering large-scale data center construction projects.
This is an onsite position in Indiana.
The Opportunity
This executive leadership role is responsible for overseeing multiple mission-critical construction projects, providing strategic direction to project teams, maintaining key client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive oversight of multiple data center construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
- Lead and mentor Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners.
- Drive project financial performance, forecasting, and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements.
- Support business development efforts and participate in client presentations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to improve operational performance and project delivery.
Qualifications
- 15 years of commercial construction experience, including significant data center experience (Data center experience is an absolute must)
- Experience in a Project Executive, Senior Project Manager, or Operations leadership role with a general contractor.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple large, complex construction projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and financial management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.

Compensation
- Base salary: Up to $325,000
