I am hiring on behalf of a leading mountain resort seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant General Manager to oversee daily food and beverage operations in a high-volume, guest-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring service and budget targets are met
- Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and labour control
- Maintain health, safety, cleanliness, and brand standards
- Support inventory management, ordering, and vendor relationships
- Assist with events, catering, and seasonal peak operations
- Ensure smooth opening and closing procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year restaurant management experience and 3 years hospitality experience
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Experience in high-volume, fast-paced or resort environments preferred
- Knowledge of POS and inventory systems
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- TIPS certification preferred
