What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Test Analyst position at Core Technology Solutions?
Seeking a Senior Test Analyst for a long term contract (minimum of 12 months) located in Columbia, SC. This position will be a hybrid opportunity with an onsite element 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and as needed).
What You Will Do In This Role:
- Project planning, organization, and management.
- Understanding of data processing terminology, operations, and architecture utilized in debugging application/environmental problems.
- Thorough understanding of systems migration processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Skill in testing data creation and manipulation.
- Ability to understand functional connections between applications.
- Ability to utilize test requirements, specifications, diagrams, logic functions, etc.
- Provide service for multiple clients, including onsite service where needed.
- Make recommendations to clients on how to improve testing activities.
- Track quality assurance metrics.
Required Experience:
- 9 years of IT experience to include experience developing test plans and/or test matrices.
- Knowledge of JAVA, Websphere, Windows, and other middleware platforms.
- Knowledge of DB2, SQL, Oracle, IMS, and VSAM.
- Skilled in whitebox testing, integration testing,
- Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
Preferred Experience:
- Selenium - Puppeteer - Appium.
- Experience testing Web applications.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree
