Position Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead and scale our flatbed sales strategy. This executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing high-performing sales teams, and expanding strategic customer relationships. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in flatbed, asset-based transportation and a proven track record of delivering consistent growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives
• Lead, mentor, and expand the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within flatbed transportation markets
• Strengthen relationships with key customers and strategic partners
• Collaborate with operations and leadership to ensure service alignment and customer satisfaction
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and pricing strategies
• Establish performance metrics and accountability standards across the sales organization
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings

Qualifications:

• 7 years of sales experience in flatbed, asset-based transportation (required)
• Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams
• Strong network and relationships within the flatbed shipping and logistics industry
• Strategic thinker with hands-on leadership approach
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Ability to travel up to 50% as required
• Must be able to be in Birmingham, Alabama when necessary
