We are seeking a results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead and scale our flatbed sales strategy. This executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing high-performing sales teams, and expanding strategic customer relationships. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in flatbed, asset-based transportation and a proven track record of delivering consistent growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives
- Lead, mentor, and expand the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within flatbed transportation markets
- Strengthen relationships with key customers and strategic partners
- Collaborate with operations and leadership to ensure service alignment and customer satisfaction
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and pricing strategies
- Establish performance metrics and accountability standards across the sales organization
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
Qualifications:
- 7 years of sales experience in flatbed, asset-based transportation (required)
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams
- Strong network and relationships within the flatbed shipping and logistics industry
- Strategic thinker with hands-on leadership approach
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Ability to travel up to 50% as required
- Must be able to be in Birmingham, Alabama when necessary
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
