Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Construction Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to grow into a full Project Manager position. You’ll work closely with senior project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day project operations from preconstruction through closeout
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
- Support budgeting, cost tracking, and change order management
- Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
- Attend project meetings and maintain meeting notes and follow-ups
- Help ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
- Monitor material deliveries and assist with procurement coordination
- Maintain organized project files and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0–2/2-4 years of experience in construction, internships preferred
- Basic understanding of construction processes and project lifecycle
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, or similar)
- Exposure to reading construction drawings and specifications
- Internship or field experience with a general contractor or subcontractor
- Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
