Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective civil and structural design strategies.
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate knowledge sharing across the team.
- Prepare scope of work, technical specifications, and detailed drawings for bid packages.
- Engage with suppliers and contractors to resolve construction and design issues efficiently.
- Provide field support, troubleshooting, and evaluation of existing civil and structural systems during project execution.
- Define project scopes, prepare estimates, and execute structural designs for foundations, supports, pipe racks, modular skids, and platforms.
- Review RFIs and submittals, ensuring timely responses and compliance.
- Participate in final design coordination meetings and approve modifications.
- Conduct site walk-downs to verify proper installation and adherence to design specifications.
- Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing EH&S regulations and standards.
- Support proposal development, including material and labor estimates.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Proven experience in gas treatment and/or natural gas structural design.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills for client and vendor interactions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and mentor junior staff.
- Knowledge of current codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Preferred: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
- Preferred: Direct experience interfacing with clients and vendors.
- Must be willing to work in-office at our headquarters in Katy, TX, Monday through Friday.
