Responsibilities
- Lead all initiatives related to business development, sales, and strategy to expand market presence and revenue streams.
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new opportunities across energy, infrastructure, and logistics sectors.
- Structure and negotiate diverse contracts, including spot, long-term, and project-based agreements.
- Collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure projects are feasible, profitable, and executed efficiently.
- Develop and refine pricing strategies aligned with market trends, seasonal variations, and risk analysis.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
- Monitor performance metrics, revenue, and KPIs to inform strategic decision-making and foster continuous growth.
- Represent the company at industry forums, client meetings, and market engagements to enhance visibility and business prospects.
- 10–15 years of experience in marine, offshore, logistics, or energy-related industries, with a proven track record in business development or strategic leadership.
- Strong background working with complex, project-based, or asset-intensive businesses in regulated environments.
- Demonstrated ability to balance sales initiatives, pricing strategies, and operational execution effectively.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership capabilities.
- Highly preferred: Experience with tug & barge operations, offshore vessels, or marine logistics; familiarity with USCG regulations and port authorities; and experience working in remote or high-demand operational settings.
- A relevant educational background, such as a bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, maritime studies, or related fields, with substantial industry experience.
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 50% based on project and client needs.
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Anchorage, Alaska.
