Job Summary

As a Field Machinist with our company, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, utilizing your expertise in flange resurfacing, base billing, line boring, stud drilling and tapping, and more. This is a direct hire position, offering a chance to work independently and make a meaningful impact on our operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site machining services, including flange resurfacing, base billing, line boring, stud drilling and tapping, and other related machining processes
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate and precise machining
• Operate and maintain various machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure work meets specifications and standards
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
• Collaborate with other team members to resolve issues and complete projects
• Travel between Texas and California as required to complete projects and provide services
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in flange resurfacing, base billing, line boring, stud drilling and tapping, and other related machining processes
• Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
