Responsibilities
- Lead the maintenance and health monitoring of autonomous fleet systems, ensuring maximum uptime and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement maintenance protocols and safety procedures aligned with autonomous vehicle systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve autonomous system issues promptly.
- Monitor system performance data, analyze trends, and recommend improvements to enhance fleet reliability.
- Provide training and coaching to maintenance personnel on autonomous system maintenance and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, fostering a safety-first workplace culture.
- Participate in safety meetings, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives related to autonomous fleet health.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, system issues, and resolutions.
- Stay current with advancements in autonomous vehicle technology and maintenance best practices.
- High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in a technical mining, engineering, or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of operational experience in mining or industrial environments, including supervisory or lead roles.
- Proven experience with fleet management systems such as MineStar Fleet or Modular Mining Dispatch is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of autonomous vehicle systems, maintenance practices, and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in computer applications and data analysis tools.
- Ability to work in outdoor, industrial environments and adhere to safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in fleet engineering, conflict management, influencing others, and negotiation skills.
