We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Neuro Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient Neurology practice in the Yonkers, NY area. The NP will provide comprehensive evaluation, management, and follow-up care for adult patients with a variety of neurological conditions. This role requires strong clinical skills, autonomy, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative care team.This is a part-time schedule of one or two days per week.RequirementsConduct comprehensive neurological assessments and follow-up visits.Diagnose and manage common neurological conditions such as migraines/headaches, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, neuropathy, and cognitive disorders.Manage medication therapy, titration, refills, and individualized treatment plans.Provide education and ongoing support to patients and families regarding neurological conditions and care plans.Collaborate closely with neurologists, RNs, and support staff.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.Participate in care coordination, staff meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.Preferred Experience (Not Required)Background in neurology, neurosurgery, Neuro ICU, stroke, or movement disorder care.Experience with MS treatments, Botox for migraines, seizure management, or dementia care.Experience ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as MRI, CT scans, EEG, EMG, and laboratory studies is a plus.CNRN or SCRN certification (a plus).Familiarity with EEG/EMG interpretation.QualificationsMaster’s or Doctorate in Nursing.Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in New York State.National NP certification (AGACNP, AGPCNP, or FNP).Minimum of 2 years of outpatient neurology NP experience (required).Strong assessment and diagnostic abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamBenefitsCompetitive salary compensation.Comprehensive benefits package, including:Health insurancePaid time off (PTO)401(k) with employer matchCME creditsMalpractice coverageAdditional optional benefits offered by the practice
