Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in Neurology to join our team in a hospital-based inpatient setting located in the Greater Westchester, New York area. This is a full-time, on-site position (not remote or hybrid) focused on delivering high-quality neurological care to hospitalized patients.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to patients with neurological conditions in a hospital-based inpatient unit
Perform neurological assessments, participate in diagnosis, and manage treatment plans
Collaborate with neurologists, physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the inpatient care team
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and monitor patient progress
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, care coordination, and discharge planning
Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation
Requirements:
Current NYS Nurse Practitioner license and board certification (FNP, AGNP, or equivalent)
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in neurology (inpatient)
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative hospital environment
