Projects Construction Manager
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead our project teams and oversee our chemical construction sites. The ideal candidate will bring leadership, precision, and a deep understanding of the construction industry to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Candidates must be familiar with electrical installations, electrical systems, construction safety regulations, and the project management life cycle. This role requires strategic planning, effective communication, and robust project management skills to steer complex construction projects from ground-breaking to completion.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of construction workers engaged in electrical projects and construction projects.
- Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and ensure that specifications are met.
- Read specifications and blueprints to determine construction requirements and plan procedures.
- Estimate material and worker requirements to complete job.
- Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
- Maintain records of daily operations, personnel, and using daily logbooks.
- Resolve work problems, recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status and plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
- Coordinate work activities with other supervisors, subcontractors, or activities of related work crews.
Qualifications
- Proven work experience as an Electrical Construction Supervisor or similar role.
- Experience in managing personnel and multiple construction projects.
- Proficient in electrical systems, construction safety regulations, and be able to read elementary wiring diagrams, loop sheets, and P&ID diagrams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical installation and construction procedures.
- Must be flexible and adapt to constant change.
- Ability to manage and lead a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have working knowledge of MS Office (Excel & Word).
- Ability to meet deadlines and solve problems.
- Must be willing and able to work holidays, weekends and extended hours as required for shutdowns.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
