We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager-Live on site to lead and oversee all aspects of our hospitality operation. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations on-site, including check-in/check-out procedures, reservations management, and guest relations to maximize satisfaction and loyalty.
- Lead a small team of 2-3 employees. Manage staffing levels, conduct training sessions, and motivate team members to achieve performance goals aligned with company standards.
- Implement revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy rates and profitability through dynamic pricing and promotional initiatives.
- Maintain strict control over budgets, expenses, and financial reporting; ensure adherence to cost controls while delivering quality service.
- Uphold hotel policies, safety protocols, and compliance with local regulations; conduct regular audits including night audits to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional development, and high employee morale.
- Cultivate strong relationships with guests by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring their overall satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Utilize multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette to handle inquiries efficiently while promoting the property’s offerings.
- Support human resources functions such as hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution to build a cohesive team.
Skills
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse guests and staff from various backgrounds.
- Proven supervising experience within hospitality management or hotel operations; demonstrated leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Extensive knowledge of hotel management practices including revenue management, guest services, front desk operations, and night audit procedures.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills; adept at resolving guest issues diplomatically.
- Experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
- Familiarity with hospitality software systems such as property management systems (PMS) and multi-line phone systems.
- Ability to lead teams confidently while fostering a culture of hospitality excellence; previous resort or hotel experience is highly desirable.
- Human resources expertise including staff training, development programs, and conflict resolution strategies.
