Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, furniture, and fixtures, following established protocols.
• Handle chemical agents safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and industrial cleaning standards to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform floor care tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces throughout the property.
• Restock amenities and supplies in guest rooms and public areas to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to linen carts, cleaning equipment, or supplies while maintaining proper manual handling techniques.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial work, with a strong understanding of hospitality standards.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and industrial cleaning equipment.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality cleanliness.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial roles is preferred but not required.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
