General Description (major areas of responsibility of this position):
A person in this position will provide administrative support to one or more human resources functions, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, compensation, benefits, equal employment opportunity, and/or employee records. Heavily interfaces with employee training and updates the Learning Management System (LMS) and compiles statistics for various HR management reports. May conduct pre-employment screening interviews, check references and respond to routine questions on HR policy.
Job-Specific Responsibilities:
● Prepares reports to support corporate and managerial metrics
● Administers employee acquisition, onboarding, development, EEO, government regulations, employee relations and activities, record keeping (including HRIS), posting requirements, corrective action, worker’s compensation, and exit both with personnel and in an administrative capacity
● Assists with the administration of benefits and enrollments
● Assists with the administration of wellness health and safety initiatives, metrics, and releases
● Functions as a primary contact for employee queries
● Functions in support capacity to all Director of HR activities
● Heavily interfaces and updates the Learning Management System (LMS)
● May prepare internal employee communications
● Is decisive and demonstrates good judgment in unusual and unexpected situations
● Manages conflict or differences effectively
● Provides a positive example of punctuality, attendance, compliance with company policy and values , and in supporting a pleasant and productive work environment
Salary : $21 - $24
