Responsibilities
- Conduct systematic assessments and reassessments tailored to patient age and condition, involving patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Analyze assessments to establish nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes collaboratively.
- Deliver nursing interventions aligned with current standards, policies, and regulations to meet patient needs.
- Evaluate patient progress, recognize issues, and make sound clinical decisions for discharge planning.
- Maintain professional practice standards and contribute to patient care quality.
- Ability to float among approved units including Med/Surg, IMC, Critical Care, and Emergency Department.
- Educational requirements include a diploma, ADN, with BSN or MSN preferred.
- Experience: 1 year in Med/Surg or IMC, 2 years in Critical Care or ER, with specific competencies in hemodynamics, pacemakers, and ventilation.
- Licenses and certifications: Valid RN license in the relevant state, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and MANDT as applicable, maintained throughout employment.
