Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager (P.E.) to lead the planning, design, and delivery of critical water and wastewater infrastructure projects throughout the Washington, DC region. This role offers the opportunity to manage impactful projects that improve public health, environmental sustainability, and community resilience while working closely with municipal clients, utilities, and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning and design through construction.
- Lead the design of water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, pump stations, and treatment facility improvements.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and internal project teams.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
- Provide technical leadership, quality control reviews, and mentorship to engineering staff.
- Support business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
- 8 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering and project management.
- Strong knowledge of utility infrastructure design, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing municipal and utility projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
