Position Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated Civil/Site Senior Project Engineer to join our growing team in Washington, DC. This position offers the opportunity to lead the design and execution of diverse land development projects, including mixed-use, commercial, residential, institutional, and public-sector developments. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and preparation of civil/site development plans, including grading, stormwater management, utility infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, and site layout.
- Manage project tasks, schedules, budgets, and deliverables from concept through construction.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Prepare and review engineering reports, calculations, permit applications, and construction documents.
- Ensure compliance with Washington, DC and regional jurisdictional requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
- Support project managers with client communication and project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
- 6 years of civil/site design and land development experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software.
- Strong knowledge of grading, stormwater management, utility design, and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
