Stockroom Attendant – $17.50/hr | Worcester, MA
Location: Worcester, MA 01604
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Duration: Long-term temporary (through June/July 2026) — potential to convert for the right candidate
About the Role
We’re looking for a dependable Stockroom Attendant to join our team in Worcester, MA. In this role, you’ll support the production floor by maintaining accurate inventory, performing daily stockroom transactions, and ensuring materials are organized and available when needed.
This is a long-term temporary position with the potential for permanent hire based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory records
- Move material throughout the factory, delivering to and picking up from production lines or other departments
- Pull and kit production schedules and backorders
- Accurately complete all inventory transactions in the ERP system in a timely manner
- Maintain and update shelf locations in the ERP system
- Store inventory safely and in designated areas
- Assist with resolving inventory or transaction discrepancies
- Escalate issues to the production supervisor as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to count and record inventory accurately
- Experience using or willingness to learn ERP systems
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication skills in English (blueprints and documentation are in English)
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen (THC acceptable)
- Must work scheduled hours as assigned (no overtime flexibility)
Preferred Experience
- 0–1 year of experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or inventory control setting
Physical & Work Environment
- Frequent standing and walking throughout the factory
- Occasional sitting and computer work
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally
- Some areas may not be climate controlled
- Routine work requiring focus, organization, and accuracy
- Safe environment with minimal exposure to hazards
