Electronic Repair Technician – 1st Shift

Pay: $20–$28 per hour, based on experience

Location: West Warwick, RI

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

About the Job

We are hiring 2 experienced Electronic Repair Technicians to join a manufacturing team in West Warwick, RI.

This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience testing, troubleshooting, and repairing small electronic devices. The hiring team is looking for reliable, experienced technicians who are interested in a long-term, permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Test and repair electronic products, including systems recorders, printers, and replacement parts.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to identify and resolve problems.
• Follow testing procedures and specification sheets to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and proper workmanship.
• Identify and report quality issues to supervisors and other departments.
• Help train new employees on proper testing, inspection, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3 years of consistent manufacturing experience.
• Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting and testing electronic devices.
• Previous experience repairing electronics, performing inspections, or working in a testing environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, test procedures, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic computer skills.
• Reliable work history and interest in a long-term permanent position.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods while performing testing and repair work.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle tools, equipment, and components.
• Ability to occasionally stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, or crouch.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. frequently and up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Additional Information

• This is a full-time, permanent position with a Monday–Friday first-shift schedule.
• Pay is determined by the hiring manager based on experience and qualifications.
• Candidates must have strong troubleshooting and testing experience.
• Marijuana testing is part of the hiring process.
