MINIMUM 12 MONTHS OF RECENT GENERAL LABOR AND FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE
Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Order Puller / Sit-Down Forklift Operator to fill an opening at a steel service and supply warehouse in Ontario, CA.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2pm–1:30am, plus Saturday overtime as needed
Requirements for Order Puller / Sit-Down Forklift Operator:
• 6 months of recent general labor and forklift experience.
• Must pass a background check, E-Verify, and drug screen.
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or industrial environment.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Must have steel toe boots – other PPE provided on site.
• Prior experience in roles such as Order Puller, Warehouse Associate, Forklift Operator, Material Handler, Shipping and Receiving Clerk, or Warehouse Worker is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the Order Puller / Sit-Down Forklift Operator:
• Pick and pull steel orders according to work orders and customer specifications
• Operate a sit-down forklift to move steel materials throughout the warehouse
• Measure steel materials using a tape measure to verify correct sizes before order completion
• Load and unload steel materials from trucks and designated warehouse areas
• Manually lift and move steel products and other materials weighing up to 50 lbs. as needed
• Work overtime on Saturdays as required based on workload
